Grant Application Period Ends

The grant application period for the 2011-2012 school year is now closed. Determinations for this year’s grants will be announced in late summer.

Each spring, the Darien District 61 Educational Foundation invites Darien Public School District 61 professional personnel working directly with children--including teachers, aides, counselors and librarians, as well as school-based groups--to apply for Foundation grants. The grant funds can be used for programs, initiatives, equipment/technology purchases or any number of innovative projects that support the Foundation’s mission of enhancing the quality of education in Darien District 61. This year’s grant application period ended May 2.
