MINI-GRANTS
The Foundation funds mini-grants throughout the school year. These grants—with a maximum amount of $500—have three application deadlines: Oct. 15, Jan. 15 and March 15. Applications are limited to one per funding period. All Darien Public School District 61 professional personnel working directly with children, including teachers, counselors, librarians and nurses, are eligible for these grants. ANNUAL GRANTS
The annual grant application period for the 2024-2025 school year will open March 15. All Darien Public School District 61 professional personnel working directly with children, including teachers, counselors, librarians and nurses, are eligible to apply for Foundation grants. In the case of team-based proposals, a project director must be designated to assume all administrative responsibility for the project and receive all related correspondence. The Foundation will fund only one grant for the same applicant(s) within one academic year.
